Cookie Policy
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser at the request of the websites you visit. They do not identify you personally by themselves, but allow the Platform to recognise your browser, keep you signed in, remember your preferences and, with your consent, measure how the Platform is used.
2. Cookies used on the Platform
| Type | Name / tool | Purpose | Consent required? | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | session_id, csrf_token | Authentication, security, session integrity | No (strictly necessary) | Session / up to 12 months |
| Functional | lang_pref, widget_config | Remembering language and display preferences | No | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | PostHog (opt-in) | Usage measurement and product improvement | Yes — via the banner | 13 months maximum |
| Advertising | None | TrustedPulse displays no third-party advertising | N/A | N/A |
3. Your consent
When you first visit the Platform, a banner lets you accept all, reject all or customise non-essential cookies. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy — one click each — and browsing the Platform is never conditional on accepting cookies. Your choice is recorded for a maximum of six months, after which the banner is shown again; consent-based cookies themselves are kept for no more than 13 months. You can change your choices at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
4. The TrustedPulse Widget on Customer websites
The review Widget embedded on our Customers’ websites operates with strictly necessary, first-party technical elements only (loading and displaying published reviews). It sets no advertising cookies and performs no cross-site tracking of visitors to those websites.
5. Browser controls
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies (see your browser’s help pages, or the guidance published by the CNIL and the ICO). Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform — such as signing in — from working properly.
6. More information
The personal data collected through cookies is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. For any question: [email protected].
